It's a bush! It's an inkblot! India? What the h*ll is it anyway?
I'm taking Wiseguy's suggestion and posting a photo of my birthmark. Hubby think it looks like India. Maybe it's like an inkblot where what you see reveals your deeply ingrained psychological frame of mind. Or not.
Anyway, once you've given it the once over (and don't mind my sadly acne etched back), let me know what your verdict is and then go over to Mel's and see what frame of mind everyone else is in.

It kinda looks like the strawberry from Across the Universe...
Or perhaps a heart on fire, like teh Catholic heart... I dunno. Interesting.
I don't have a birthmark, so I always fidn other people's marks interesting.
I'm actually going to go with Texas. Doesn't it bear a striking resemblance to Texas?
The best one I ever saw was a birthmark that was in the shape of the word "HI!"
It kinda looks like a hand doing a sign.
It does kind of look like Texas. Cool.
I'll bite. Texas is as likely as anything (I think it's too round for India). So three for Texas. This is kind of an interesting exercise considering most of my painting are abstract. It's all in what the viewer sees...
Actually I agree with India. Not the northern border, but the rest is pretty close.
I say no to Texas because the panhandle is way off.
OK...Are you going to run a Thematic Apperception Test on everybody's interpretation?
Hmmm... It can possibly look like India...if you only look at the jutting landmass - that is, South India.
It looks like the omelettes I make - never round, always shapeless! LOL.
Wait...I see a devil's face there...two horns, and one ear slightly longer than the other and...a triangular beard...you got sketch pens?
I have a birthmark that looks like the state of Florida, a duck or a plane, depending on what angle you see it from.
I see a turtle, it's face and arms are the bottom and the back is his tail that is a little off center.
I'm an odd ball here...
If you turn it on its side, it may be the Buddha meditating.
I don't have anything clever. But this talk of birthmarks got me thinking about a cat I once say. His markings were such that it says "JOY" on his side. He's at an old salvage place in Kennebunk, Maine. I think they even have him on their website.
I have to cock my head to the left, but I actually see one of the gargoyles from the Hunchback movie. Seriously - eyes, mouth and everything.
So cool! I see the face of a man with a long nose. My husband has a sexy birthmark on his right arm.
I'm not sure I see India. Maybe Texas. Definitely not Florida. But, I'm going to say it looks like a giraffe with his head turned slightly to the side. (I know, I am always odd man out. sorry.)
I see a left facing profile of a man with a very large nose and spiky hair! I call him Wanky!
