Like drowned rats...

Uuuk! I hate feeling cold and damp! Welcome to fall on the West Coast... like normal.

Yesterday was a beautiful day between two gross ones. Went to UBC for the apple festival and enjoyed the very warm and sunny day. Saw Claire off to the ferry today, which was sold out and she had to wait for the 2pm sailing. Meanwhile I headed back into town where I puttered around trying to find a specific size of a pair of pants at the GAP that I saw with Claire yesterday at Metrotown. Unfortunatel,y they have sold out of that size completely in Vancouver. *pout pout*

I did, however, find a pair of short boots at Payless that I can wear to and from work that will actually keep my feet dry. A novel concept since all my shoes are wrecked and my feet get soaked!

All in all, I'm feeling very cultered lately. A couple of weeks ago I went to see Mamma Mia at the Queen E Theatre with my co-workers. It was an amazing show I would so go it again if I had the chance. Friday was the Jann Arden concert. I had been looking forwward to it since I bought the tickets back in April and I most definitley not disapointed. She's a fabulous entertaining who is so hilarious. Not to mention that her voice and lyrics have always resonated with me.

And to top everything off, tomorrow I'm going to see Lord of the Dance with Caroline. I haven't seen Caroline in so long and am really looking forward to catching up.

Well, I'll let you all know how it goes. Time to watch a movie... Ryan and I are debating between The Wiz, The Incredibles (which I LOVE!) or something more serious...but first... time for the apple crisp I made... yes, Claire I had to! :)

Apple crisp! I should have spent another night! Too bad about the pants, but yay about the shoes! Thanks again!
